Attleboro Falls to North, 53-46
The Lady Bombardiers jumped out to a 4-0 lead and forced the Rocketeers into several turnovers, before the girls in red got on the scoreboard. Attleboro had an 8-5 lead on baskets by Kerri Beland, Beth Clifton and Sarah Deyo. North tied the score and then took a 2 point lead. A basket from behind the arc by Emily Houle gave Attleboro a short lived lead, 11-10. Two free throws by North ended the first quarter, with the Red Rocketeers in the lead, 12-11.
The second period saw Attleboro score first, on two free throws by Beth Clifton. A basket by Bri LaPlume, and 2 free throws by Deyo gave the Bombardiers a 17-14 lead. North knotted the score at 17 all, before Clifton hit 1 of 2 from the line and five points by Deyo put Attleboro in the lead, 23-20, as the half ended.
The second stanza saw North take the lead but Clifton tied the score from inside. A 3 point basket by North put them in the lead once again but 2 free throws by Bri LaPlume again tied the score, 29 all. North was not to be denied and 5points by the Rocketeers gave them a 34-31 lead, at the end of the third period.

The final eight minutes of play saw Attleboro take the lead just once, 35-34. North held as much as a 10 point advantage and the Bombardiers were forced to put the Rocketeers on the free throw line. The girls in red took home a victory!
Leading the scoring for the Bombardiers were Beland with 14 points and 5 rebounds and freshman Deyo, hitting for 14 points and 4 rebounds. Deyo has hit for double digests in all three games. LaPlume added 9 rebounds and Houle chipped in with 7.

Attleboro will take to the court on Monday, when they host the Hilltoppers from Fall River, in a non- league game. Tip off is at 1:00.
