Robert Downey Jr. Greeted By Fans While Filming Movie in Attleboro

Robert Downey Jr. was filming his new film "The Judge," which will also feature Robert Duval and Billy-Bob Thorton.

Swarms of Robert Downey Jr. fans in Attleboro braved the rainy weather Thursday outside of Duffy Poule Funeral Home on Peck St. just to catch a glimpse of "Iron Man" himself.

"My God, it's like the whole town's out here," Downey Jr. said while signing autographs early in the afternoon. "I feel so special."

The actor's one-day stop in Attleboro was to film his new movie "The Judge."

According to IMDB.com, "The Judge," is about "a successful lawyer [who] returns to his hometown for his mother's funeral only to discover that his estranged father, the town's judge, is suspected of murder."

Slated for 2014, the film will also co-star heavyweights like Robert Duval and Billy-Bob Thorton. Crews in Attleboro said that although most of the film will be filmed in Massachusetts, it will take place in Indiana.

Downey Jr. made more than one visit Thursday to greet the Attleboro fans, who lined the sidewalk.

One fan, 4-year-old Jayden Molina made sure his voice was heard during Downey Jr's afternoon visit with fans.

"Bye Iron Man" he yelled as Downey Jr. walked off.
