ReplyPaul, I guess you are right, after all you are an elected politician and it's now your job to make sure every citizen is protected. We need the government in our cars because we are stupid. We need the government to make sure our drinks are under 16oz because we are pigs. We need bigger government so all our cell phone calls can be listened to. How about lower our taxes and welfare reform? Are we funding the next Boston Marathon Bombers on welfare right now?

ReplyEvery project in town goes over budget because every project takes 10 years to complete. That is why I am against everything, I don't care what it is anymore, I will vote against it and I will try to convince others to vote it down as well. A dispensary would offset all of our projects that always run over budget.

ReplyWho cares about half a million more, Seekonk is a wealthy town. The most important thing the town needs to worry about is medical marijuana dispensaries. One of those pot shops would ruin our quaint community. Who cares what the voters say, put a moratorium in place and never remove it. Pot is a gateway drug.

ReplyThis is a common sense issue, only a few sub-humans are ignorant enough to smoke in a car with a child. The majority of parents are good and we don't need big brother making up more laws so the cops can pull us over for seatbelt, cigarette, and cell phone checks. This is not what you were elected for.

After reading the warrant, I am still wondering who came up with the idea of a moratorium, it sounds like the town is afraid of the unknown. Let's not forget that the people voted this in, do our votes not count? Why the roadblocks? Why is it so hard for government to give the people what they want?
