@ Disgusted: What was the other option for Mr. Murphy? Stick to his "guns" and keep the SC divided? That would give Teri E. the sole deciding vote as to who would be our new superintendent. I do not believe that she deserves that honor or distinction.
Perhaps he was working for his constituents? Imagine that? Working for the people to bring an end to the division, and not an "agenda". Brenda even complimented him on his efforts. Please..

ReplyPlease tell me there is going to be another article about Ward 1 SC member Teri flying in to cast her vote, even though she has been absent for the better part of the last year. (It was on channel 12 too!) I love that Murphy and Zito changed their vote so it was a waste of Teri's time to fly in. (I hope the city didn't pay for her to come back...)

@ citizen.. if you are so "ready to act" PUT YOUR NAME ON THE BALLOT. Ronda didn't say anything that would demand such an oddly aggressive response from you. Larry pointed out (validly) that we need new SC members especially in a ward with absolutely NO representation. Ronda response is really the only one that has merit.

8 Terms for Cook? ridiculous! He is completing his 14th year as a city councilor. If that isn't screaming for term limits I don't know what does. It is time for you to move on Frank. Also why put your phone number on the bottom of your press release when you NEVER return phone calls?
Walter.. same goes! 16 years on council? There are kids driving that were BABIES when he was elected the first time.
Attleboro NEEDS CHANGE! We NEED SOME FRESH FACES to help move our city along! (Don't even get me started about Peter...)
