Local Volunteers Recognized
A celebration of the volunteers takes place at Attleboro High School and at the Attleboro Elks.
Without the help of local volunteers, various entities in this community could not function and many people who need help would not be able to receive it. Those who devote their time to the community and its residents were recognized Friday at the 27th annual Volunteer Day Celebration, which included a ceremony at Attleboro High School, followed by a luncheon at the Attleboro Elks. The event, co-sponsored by Sturdy Memorial Hospital and the Area Community Council, included comments from local leaders.
