Driver in Fatal Crash Arraigned From Hospital Bed Sean Jackman, 24, of Stoughton, the driver in last weekend's fatal car crash in Canton, was arraigned this week on multiple charges, including motor vehicle homicide and drunk driving. Jackman was arraigned at Boston Medical Center, where was hospitalized following the single car crash, which killed the lone passenger in the vehicle, Evan Bard, a junior at Curry College. Bard, 20, from Agawam, was killed instantly, officials said. She was a nursing student and was a member of Curry’s cheerleading team. Stoughton Murder Suspect Charged with Killing Ex-Wife The man arrested for killing his estranged wife in her Stoughton home was arraigned in Stoughton District Court Monday afternoon and charged with murder. Willie Foster, 47, of Dorchester was taken into custody by Boston police officers Monday morning in Mattapan. He is accused of killing Anita Clark, 46, who was found dead May 4 at her 76 Glen Echo Blvd. home in Stoughton. Foster, who appeared in court wearing a Boston Red Sox pullover, pleaded not guilty to the murder charge. No Injuries After Car Crashes into Route 1 Liquors in Foxborough There were no injuries reported after a motor vehicle drove through the entrance of Route 1 Liquor Mart at 29 Washington St. in Foxborough Saturday afternoon. "[It] could have been a lot worse than how this image [see above] portrays it," Foxborough Police said on its Facebook page. Police received a 911 call from Route 1 Liquor Mart at 4:51 p.m. Saturday reporting a car had crashed through the front of the building. House Party Leads to Traffic-Halting Fight on Route 138 One person was arrested Friday evening after an Easton house party resulted in a traffic-halting brawl in the middle of Washington Street. Christine Vivero, 21, of Connecticut was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery on a police officer and disorderly conduct after police arrived on the scene of the fight, Police Chief Allen Krajcik said. Thursday night's meeting of the Attleboro School Committee concluded without the selection of a superintendent to take over the district in July, and several people are not happy about this. Following more than two hours of executive session discussion behind closed doors, School Committee Chair Mike Tyler announced "there was no consensus on either finalist for the position of superintendent of the schools." Teen Attempts Brutal Murder, Police Say A 15-year-old Attleboro male was arraigned Thursday in Taunton Juvenile Court for attempted murder and various other charges after he stabbed, attempted to drown and attempted to kill by asphyxiation a 63-year-old female neighbor Wednesday night, Attleboro police reported.
