Congressman Joe Kennedy III, whose 4th District includes Attleboro and Seekonk, announced Monday he will host an open house Saturday at his Attleboro office, located at 8 North Main St. The public will have a chance to meet Kennedy and his district staff, according to a press release issued by the congressman's office. Congressman-elect Joe Kennedy III, whose district includes Attleboro and Seekonk, announced plans Thursday to locate his 4th District offices in Attleboro and Newton. Kennedy, whose term begins Jan. 3, will open an office at 8 North Main St. in Attleboro, which was previously occupied by Congressman Jim McGovern. One month after he clinched the 4th Congressional District seat, Joe Kennedy III celebrated another important milestone on Saturday—his wedding. Kennedy, 32, wed fellow Harvard Law School classmate Lauren Anne Birchfield at the Community Church in Corona del Mar, Calif., My Fox Boston reported. The ceremony was officiated by Birchfield's father, the Rev. Jim Birchfield. The final hour of the final day of the 2012 Attleboro Farmers Market season included a visit from congressional candidate Joe Kennedy III. The Democrat and his staff purchased items late Saturday morning and he posed for photos with various people, including market President Heather Porreca and her family. Kennedy also spoke with City Councilor Jonathan Weydt, who said he has a picture of him with his daughter from when they were 8 years old.
