Attleboro Girls Will Host Tournament Game Monday
If they win, the Bombardiers will face North Attleboro in the next round.
The Attleboro High girls varsity basketball team will host Brockton Monday in the preliminary round of the MIAA South Division 1 tournament. Fourteenth-seeded Attleboro (12-10) and No. 19 Brockton (10-10) did not meet during the regular season. The game will take place at 7 p.m. If the Bombardiers win, they will face third-seeded North Attleboro (16-4) in the first round Wednesday. The Rocketeers defeated the Bombardiers 62-49 in December and 61-53 last month. Bishop Feehan will have two teams in the postseason. The second-seeded boys (16-4) have a bye in the preliminary round of the South Division 3 tournament and will play at home in the first round against either No. 15 O'Bryant (12-8) or No. 18 Dover-Sherborn (10-10).
