Anything is Possible When the World is Your Canvas
An autumn meal that will leave your kitchen smelling sweet.
As soon as I get in the door, I open the fridge and a world of possibilities come swirling on to my culinary canvas. The day before, I was off doing my second favorite thing, grocery shopping. I went to Super Stop and Shop in South Attleboro to see what meats were on sale. Right away I gravitate to the one inch thick pork chops. After, I grab a medium-sized acorn squash and instantly think of an autumn dish to create. I preheat the oven to 375 degrees, wash the squash and cut it into two halves. I place olive oil onto a napkin and rub it all over its outer skin. I scoop out any seeds and add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, 2 teaspoons of honey and a dash of pepper.
