Thursday, February 7
Notice anything different? Of course you do! As of today, we have restored Attleboro Patch and rolled out Seekonk-Swansea Patch. Based on the feedback we've seen from you, our faithful readers and advertisers, it was just good common sense to make this move. Now, instead of asking you to find the news and information you need from one site, each town will have one, dedicated place: right here with Attleboro Patch and at Seekonk-Swansea Patch, which you can find at seekonk-swansea.patch.com Thank you for your continued support. And as always, let me know what you think.

Two separate Patch sites will launch Thursday.
We have a big announcement to make. On Thursday, Feb. 7, we will be restoring Attleboro Patch and creating a new site, Seekonk-Swansea Patch. Based on the feedback we've received from you, our faithful readers and advertisers, it was just good common sense to do this. Now, instead of asking you to find the news and information you need from one site, Attleboro will once again have a site dedicated solely to the community and Seekonk will be paired with the neighboring town of Swansea for the new Seekonk-Swansea Patch. We know … well, why did you change it? We had hoped to offer you the same robust coverage of everything happening in both towns. We discovered tremendous support for our continued coverage of the things that matter to …

Tell us what your favorite businesses are and then vote for them in the Best of Patch, starting next week.
Patch is unveiling Best of Patch next week, which will allow readers to vote for their favorite businesses and places in Attleboro. Each Monday morning, we will post an article with a poll and ask readers to take part by voting in the poll and posting reviews on those businesses’ directory listings on Patch. Because polls are not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch. On Friday morning, we will announce the winner of the Best Of contest for that week. For our first Best of Patch next week, we will ask you: Where is the best place to get fit? Check back next week and …

Business owners are encouraged to claim listings in Patch Places to better promote their business and inform readers.
When Attleboro Patch launched in 2010, editors and freelancers ventured to local businesses in order to collect information for our directory. Now, Patch Places is a spot where users can find descriptions, hours, accepted payment methods and much more for spots around town. All users can add events taking place at local spots, can rate the business on a scale of one to five stars and can add a review. But owners of local businesses get extra bonuses when they claim a listing. Owners or managers should search for their business listing and select "claim your listing" in order to make updates to the page. A form will pop up asking for your name, contact information and proof of ownership. Within a few days, someone from Patch should contact …

Here's our take on the best places to get a hearty burger.
Bar Louie: Louie has 12 different speciality burgers for you to try. There is sure to be one on that list especially for you. Red Robin: Robin is the perfect place to get that burger with the kids. It's kid-friendly, has a tower of onion rings to go with the burger and the Red Robin mascot hands out balloons. Two Jerks Pub and Grill: This pub makes their own hand-pressed burgers. Enough said. Mudville Pub - Way over the line in Newport, you'll find a great little place with a great burger. It's worth the drive! Johnny Rockets - In the Providence Place Mall, is were you'll find 13 different burgers. Rockets at Providence Place is one of six locations in Rhode Island.
