School Bus Status Gets Public Hearing
Attleboro's school buses could be forced off the Pleasant Auto Center parking lot this week.
Lots of behind-the-scenes chatter is taking place about two items on the agenda for this week's Attleboro Zoning Board of Appeals meeting. Both items involve the school buses parked at Pleasant Auto Center. One item includes a public hearing "to consider revoking the special permit" for Pleasant Auto owner Cynthia Karol. The permit allows her to operate the business on the property, despite its location in an area zoned residential. She is restricted from having buses parked on the property. However, the buses of school district contractor H&L Bloom have been parking at the site since last month.
