Attlebor Police Officer Susan Boisse helps to save her own mother's life in an emergency action.
Police Officer Susan Boisse reportedly saved her own mother’s live recently when she couldn’t get in touch, according to WCVB.com and the Sun Chronicle. Boisse, a 27-year veteran of the Attleboro Police Department, couldn’t contact her 78-year-old mother Sue Godin and rushed to her residence. Her mother, who is diabetic and requires insulin injections, was found unconscious. Police stated it is possible that without Boisse’s actions, Godin could have died. Click here to read more.

Owner Arthur Bombardier shares the story of how he became the owner and operator of the place where he had his first job.
Arthur Bombardier began working at Tex Barry's Coney Island Diner in Attleboro more than 30 years ago, and he said he's happy to be at the place where he had his first job. "My mother was working for the gentleman that had this place beforehand," he said. "I started working for her and my aunt when I was 15." Bombardier said he wasn't always sure he was going to make and sell hotdogs for a living, but it did grow on him. "When I first started, I was thinking about becoming an accountant," he said. Bombardier said his mother bought the restaurant in 1985 when the original chain that opened in 1929 went out of business. He said he had to take over because she had become ill the same year. An Attleboro detective says the department is pursuing "solid leads." He expects arrests will be made.
Tuesday, 6:30 a.m. UPDATE: The investigation is expected to continue today into a Monday afternoon home invasion robbery on Newport Avenue in South Attleboro, Detective Sgt. Arthur Brillon said. Brillon said the department has "solid leads" on the two suspects. They allegedly entered the home near Cardi's Furniture, not far from the Pawtucket border, armed with guns and took cash. A call was made about the incident to Attleboro police at 12:37 p.m., Brillon said. Attleboro and state police searched the area for approximately two hours. Natick Sands, 18, and Ryan Ringuette, 20, pled not guilty in Attleboro District Court Tuesday after police arrested them Monday for allegedly discussing a Columbine-like attack at Attleboro High School on Facebook.

Suspects will be arraigned today in Attleboro District Court.
The two men arrested for allegedly plotting a "Columbine-like" attack at Attleboro High School will be arraigned in court today. Natick Sands, 18, and Ryan Ringuette, 20, both of Attleboro, will be arraigned in Attleboro District Court on charges that they were planning a Columbine style incident and specifically named the Attleboro Police Department School Resource Officer as a potential target. Both were booked at the Attleboro Police Station Monday and held on $10,000 cash bail.
