Barking for Fences; Attleboro Committee One Step Closer to Creating a Dog Park
Money is all that is needed to bring a Dog Park to Attleboro.
Attleboro residents have made it clear-they want a dog park and motivated members of the Attleboro Dog Park Committee are making it happen. The group, which met Monday night at the Attleboro Public Library, plans to raise at total of $12,000 to pay for a 6-foot chain-link fence. The group has raised $5,000, less than half of what is required for the fence. Prior to the start of the meeting, Atteboro City Councilor Richard Conti, an active supporter of the Attleboro Dog Park, suggested to Dog Park Committee Chairperson Roberta Collins to set up a table at Attleboro Farmers Market, which opens Saturday, May 4.
