Fred E. Briggs Swimming Pool and Playground, located on East Street, is home to one of four public pools in Attleboro. Day or season passes are available for individuals and families and are available at the pool. A season pass enables entry to all three of the city-owned pools and a state-owned pool. Lifeguards are on duty every day during pool hours. Red Cross certified and CPR-trained lifeguards are also available to provide swimming lessons to children and adults (registration is required). Adjacent to the pool is a playground, two basketball courts, a skate park and picnic table.
