Bartek Recreation Center

Bartek Recreation Center, located in the former National Guard Armory building known as "the castle," serves many purposes. It is home to Attleboro's Youth Center, a place for Attleboro's youth to go to after school. Bartek, named after former recreation director Fred Bartek, boasts three indoor basketball courts, a game room equipped with pool, tennis, and foosball tables, a youth lounge and a boxing room. The Robert W. Lepper and Richard R. Brousseau gym is available on weekends to Attleboro residents only. The center also houses the city's recreation department and the recreation maintenance department.
