The Attleboro Housing Authority is one of 253 public housing authorities in Massachusetts. The Housing Authority in Attleboro provides housing to eligible residents. Preference is given to Attleboro residents who are homeless due to a natural disaster, veterans, are local residents or those with an emergency need. There are a total of 52 two-bedroom family units and 39 three-bedroom family units at Hillcrest Oaks. Two one-bedroom units and 13 two-bedroom units are located off-site. Oakhurst, Maple Terrace, Brookside and Rivercourt's 319 one-bedroom units are dedicated for the elderly and disabled.
