Middle School students finishing the "Dig Into Reading" summer program will celebrate another successful year by enjoying make-your-own sundaes with ice cream donated by Bliss Brothers Dairy. This is an invitation-only event. Please RSVP!
Backwoods Trek:

Anthony Lawrence Wildlife Preserve, Hope Avenue, Attleboro
Details:
Adventurous hikers are invited to join local naturalist Gary Krofta for a backwoods trek at the Anthony Lawrence Wildlife Preserve on Saturday, August 31. The 48-acre preserve is one of the most varied and pristine of the conservation areas owned and managed by the nonprofit Attleboro Land Trust. Krofta, who has explored much of Attleboro's wildlands, will take hikers off the beaten path to explore both woodlands and a marsh bordering the Seven Mile River.
Hikers should meet at 9:00 am at the end of Hope Avenue, which is off Newport Avenue (Route 123) not far from the South Attleboro American Legion. When parking on Hope Avenue, please take care not to block driveways or mailboxes of local residents. Wear comfortable footwear suitable for crossing rough and possibly wet terrain. Bring mosquito repellent, sunscreen, and water. The hike will last approximately 2 hours.

Attleboro Farmer's Market

Details:
The Market is located at Fineberg Field in Atttleboro which is at Park (Route 118) and Bishop Streets, between Sturdy Hospital and LaSalette Shrine. Across the street from Bliss Brothers Dairy. It is open every Saturday from mid-June through October from 9 to 1.
Deutsche Bank Championship

Pro golf is invading Norton this weekend for the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston. The event kicks off with a Pro-Am on Thursday and the championship rounds over the weekend.
