Paint & Automotive Waste Drop off

29 Pond Street North, Attleboro, MA (off Read Street)

Details:

Attleboro residents may drop off paint products, oil, antifreeze, cardboard,
propane tanks, batteries, tires (up to 4 per year), metal, and electronics (up
to 2 TV’s per year and TV’s need a sticker from the Health
Department.

Details:
The Market is located at Fineberg Field in Atttleboro which is at Park (Route 118) and Bishop Streets, between Sturdy Hospital and LaSalette Shrine. Across the street from Bliss Brothers Dairy. It is open every Saturday from mid-June through October from 9 to 1.

Big Read - 'Do You Have What it Takes - True Grit' Publicity Kickoff

Saturday, 1:30 p.m.

Balfour Riverwalk Park

Details:
n celebration of International Literacy Day, The Literacy Center, with help from The Attleboro Public Library, will publicly announce our community-wide reading of "True Grit" with tests of strength and endurance based on western themes. Horse roping; horse shoes; cowboy poetry readings, and horse riding (weather permitting) are among the activities planned. Kids: Try a pony ride in the Balfour Riverwalk next to the Library courtesy of the local Cityslickers 4 H Club. Free books and craft with Project Connect Family Center. Books and Big Read materials will be handed out. Event will be held in the Library if weather does not cooperate.
