Holiday Craft Fair This Week in Attleboro

What is happening around Attleboro this week?

1. Richard J. Ross Meeting Hours:

Senator Richard J. Ross (R-Wrentham) is pleased to announce that he will be holding morning meeting hours in Attleboro on Monday, December 2nd from 7:30am – 8:30am at Morin’s Hometown Bar & Grille (16 South Main Street). The morning meetings will provide constituents with an opportunity to meet with Senator Ross and discuss any matters of importance to them. To register for a meeting, please call the office of Senator Ross at (617) 722-1555 with a preferred time and a brief description of the topics you would like to discuss with Senator Ross.

3. What Else is Happening Around Attleboro? Walker's are invited to participate in either a 5km or 10km (3.1 or 6.2 mile) walk sponsored by the Walk'n Mass Volkssport Club. Registration is from 11 a.m to 2 p.m., finish by 5 p.m. These walks are noncompetitive, follow a marked route and are accomplished at your own pace. Anyone may participate regardless of age or physical fitness. These walks are free to the public.

The 10km route commences at the shrine and goes through a short path in woods then on to paved road and sidewalks. The 5km route requires a short drive to the Attleboro Industrial Museum where the trail begins.

The walk routes traverse town streets passing many historic sites and homes. Both walk routes pass the Capron Zoo, are on paved sidewalks and a relatively flat unpaved walk path, suitable for strollers but not for wheelchairs.Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not allowed in the Capron Zoo. Leashed pets are welcome on the walk and clean-up laws apply.
