Seekonk Speedway Donates Non-Perishables to Rhode Island Community Food Bank [VIDEO]
Last week's Spooktacular racing event doubled as a food drive.
spectactors who got an eyeful of smushed gords and souped up engines at last week's , can give themselves a pat on the shoulder.
The event that doubled as a food drive for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank produced about 5,000 non-perishable food donations.
According to Ed St. Germain, spokesman for the Speedway, the items will be donated to the regional food bank this week - just in time for the holidays.
