Attleboro Historic Preservation Society

As part of its ongoing mission to preserve, restore, promote and develop the historical assets of our city, the Attleboro Historic Preservation Society will present a program spotlighting the Attleboro Fire Department in the history of Attleboro. Former Attleboro fire chief, Ronald Churchhill, a member of the fire department for 43 years, will discuss the department, its changes and important incidents shaping its role in Attleboro's development and history. This program will be presented at the monthly meeting of the Attleboro Historic Preservation Society at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2011. It will be held at the Attleboro Industrial Museum at 42 Union Street, Attleboro, MA. The program is supported by the Attleboro Cultural Council.

The Attleboro Historic Preservation Society would like to remind you to save the date, June 4, 2011 for the spectacular 'Spring House Tour '. This spring house tour is a major fund raiser for the Attleboro Historic Preservation Society and a favorite of program participants.  The tour is a fun event you won't want to miss! Early tickets will go on sale at the Society's April Meeting. The public is invited to all Attleboro Historic Preservation Society events.
