Adopt a Pet: Gracie

6-month-old female kitten needs a home.

Gracie is a six-month-old kitten that was found two months ago by the Seekonk Animal Shelter. She was found in the woods near a brook where she was sustaining herself on scraps of food from a dumpster.

She was very tiny when she was found and Animal Control Officer Sharon Hall said she will grow to be a petite adult.

Hall called Gracie "a purr bucket," as the vocal cat purrs readily when being held or pet.

Gracie is up to date with all her shots and has already been spayed.

For more information, call the shelter at 508-336-6663 or stop by from 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, or 2 to 4 p.m. any other day, including weekends. The shelter is located next to Town Hall.
