STURDY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AFFILIATED PHYSICIANS NAMED TO HARVARD PILGRIM HEALTH CARE HONOR ROLL “WITH DISTINCTION”

ATTLEBORO, MA, January 23, 2014 – Harvard Pilgrim Health Care (HPHC) has named Sturdy Memorial Hospital Affiliated Physicians to its honor roll for 2013. The Sturdy physician group received this honor “With Distinction” for performing at or above the national 90th percentile on all measures.

            Sturdy Memorial Hospital Affiliated Physicians were one of 56 physician groups in Massachusetts named to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s Honor Roll. They were recognized for achieving exceptional results in their approach to disease prevention and the treatment of acute and chronic illness in both adult and pediatric patients.

            According to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, physician groups are selected for the honor roll based on clinical performance measures against national standards set by HEDIS® (Healthcare Effectiveness Date and Information Set), a tool developed for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to assess the clinical performance of doctors and other medical professionals.
