Irritated? Who Is Irritated Out There?

The Attleboro Farmers market  Election  Seekonk? What's the world coming to? Well, at least we aren't being bombed out of our homes by a wacko, egotistical dictator as is happening in Syria. No earthquakes like there are in Chile ... again. I'll bet the poppy fields in Afghanistan will be turning green soon. Like that indigenous agricultural feature will ever be conducive to a democratic form of government.

I'm thinking ...Tarzan and Jane had it pretty good!

Speaking of turmoil, especially political turmoil. Who's telling the truth? I just keep wondering why people vote in primaries. You can't believe any of the candidates. They can't do half the things they say they will do as president since, sometimes fortunately, our system of government has checks and balances. Then they find out many of the real facts that will influence a yes or no on those promises.

So, I found a website that gives me a better inkling of what's really going on. It's called Politifact, and can be found at www.politifact.com. It includes interesting research that delves into the degrees of truth or fiction of the thousands of statements made by candidates and other politicos in the news. Even our president!

You should check out the website. It seems to clarify many issues in the political world of "truth or consequences." I have no connection to this organization and will not benefit in any way whether you go to the site or not.
