Ashley Hurst is listed as a forward on your roster sheet, but plays in the middle with centers from other schools despite a major size disadvantage.
A senior at , Ashley Hurst is listed as a "forward" for the girls basketball team. However, the team has been riddled with injuries, and is undersized within the conference to begin with. Ashley has been routinely asked to play center which leaves her matched up against much bigger players from other teams.
Without teammates Olivia Grocott and Samantha Berard at times to cover opposing bigs, Hurst has had to work with coach Steven Borger on creative ways to cover these opponents. She has performed admirably in this role. Hurst is also grateful for the chance she has had to play basketball in Seekonk, gaining great friends and improving as a player throughout her career.
