Statement Wins Over Mansfield for Attleboro Boys', Girls' Hoops

Sports Wrap: Boys' basketball, girls' basketball and hockey are all coming off wins this week.

The Attleboro boys' basketball team will take on Milford Saturday night.

The Bombardiers are riding a high after upsetting (formerly) undefeated Mansfield on the road Thursday night in a 61-58 victory. Big Blue was led by E.J. Santarpio and Brandon Clark, who finished with 17 points each.

The win was pivotal for Attleboro. The Bombardiers had lost three of the last four heading into Thursday.

The Blue Bombardiers' girls' basketball team suffered it's first loss since December last friday when the Bombardiers narrowly fell to Franklin, 49-48.

Attleboro rebounded, though, Friday with a huge win, handing Mansfield it's third loss of the season, 40-24.

Big Blue will travel to Milford Saturday afternoon.

After a difficult stretch that included a loss to Franklin, a tie to Mansfield and a loss to Dedham, the Attleboro hockey team defeated King Philip Thursday.

Travis Tanguay, Luke Chomyszak and Chad Nadeau all scored goals to the Bombardiers.

Attleboro will travel to Taunton Saturday afternoon.
