Sports Wrap: Bombardier Ice Men Edge Silver Lake
Hockey skates past Silver Lake and boys and girls hoops edge Durfee.
After a difficult 4-0 loss to North Attleboro last Saturday and a tie at Milford on Monday, the Attleboro hockey team earned an important victory, 2-1 Thursday against Silver Lake.
Attleboro will look to continue the momentum when it travels to St. Joseph's Prep on Saturday

The Blue Bombardiers' boys' basketball team is off to a hot start to the season and they're looking to continue their winning ways against cross-town rival Bishop Feehan Friday night, 6:30 at home.
Big Blue has won two road games: a 46-42 win at North last week and a 72-58 win in Fall River against Durfee earlier this week.

The girls' basketball team will also look to continue momentum Friday across town at Bishop Feehan. The Blue Bombardiers defeated Durfee Monday, 50-43 to rebound from a difficult loss to North last Friday.

The boys' and girls' swim teams both swam their way to victories in the season opener this week against Stoughton. The boys' captured a 53-38 victory and the girls' captured a 59-32 victory.
They didn't fare as well last Saturday against Mansfield, though. The boys fell to the Hornets, 48-46 and the girls fell 55-38.
