Bishop Feehan Wins Super Bowl

A 21-7 victory over Lynnfield gives the Shamrocks their eighth championship.

Another title will be making its home at Bishop Feehan High School as the Shamrocks defeated Lynnfield 21-7 in the Division 3A Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium Saturday night.

The Shamrocks were able to seal the victory with a goal line stand with 5:54 left in the game. Feehan was able to keep the Pioneers out of the end zone with their goal line defense throughout the game.

Feehan senior quarterback Nick Romero had two touchdown runs, including a game-sealing 36-yard score in the third quarter. Romero faked out the Pioneer defense, which fell for the handoff, allowing the quarterback to run untouched for a 36-yard touchdown and a 21-7 lead.
