The Attleboro football team was recently named as a "Team That Will Surprise" in a roundtable feature with ESPN Boston high school sports analysts.

ESPN Boston High School Editor Scott Barboza named Attleboro on his list of possible surprises this year, citing a new coaching staff.

"Mike Strachan takes over the Blue Bombardiers controls with the help of a coaching staff that includes former New England Patriots running back Sammy Morris," wrote Barboza. "Can they lead them to a playoff appearance out of a stacked deck in the Hockomock League?"

Barboza, however, did not name Attleboro in his Top 10, nor did any of his colleagues. Hockomock foe and perennial power Mansfield was named on each of the four analysts "Top 10" lists.
