Dunkin’ Donuts to Award $100,000 in Scholarships to Local Students

Boston – Senator Richard Ross (R-Wrentham) would like to announce that Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees of Rhode Island and Bristol County Massachusetts will continue their annual scholarship program by awarding $100,000 in scholarships to local students.  This year, Dunkin’ Donuts will award 100 college-bound high school seniors from Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts with a $1,000 scholarship.

The Dunkin’ Donuts Franchisee Scholarship Program was established to recognize the importance of education and provide support to residents in the community. In its 19th year, the program has awarded over than $1.9 million to help ease the burden of high education costs.

“I am so proud of Dunkin’ Donuts, a Massachusetts based company, by the support they continually offer our students. Rising education costs is a constant issue in the state and this program offers students the resources to help receive the quality education they deserve,” said Senator Ross.
