Seekonk High Underclassmen Honored for Accomplishments
Students, parents, and faculty gather to honor outstanding underclassmen.
Students, faculty, family and friends gathered in the Seekonk High School auditorium Tuesday night to honor the “talent, knowledge, and character” of the school’s underclassmen.
Principal Marcia McGovern greeted the crowd, calling the honored students “outstanding leaders” and praising their integrity. She went on to say that she is sure these underclassmen will “accomplish great things in their lifetime."
The evening began with “Academic Excellence Awards,” presented to students who have made the Honor Roll every quarter of the year thus far. There were close to one hundred students who received this honor.
