Local Bank Helps With Attleboro Stadium Renovation

HarborOne Bank in Attleboro made a significant dent in the $600,000 needed in private dontations to fund construction at Tozier-Cassidy Field.

Bank President Leo MacNeil presented Attleboro Principal Bill Runey and a group of student athletes with a $10,000 check last week. Students present included Tom Burns, David Duquette, Joey Scales, Bri LaPlume, Allie Kane and Chelsea Ferreira

The complete overhaul of the stadium, which will include the installation of a turf playing field and a new track, began last month and is expected to be completed by the first Attleboro football game in September.

The city approved funding funding $3,550,000 of the $4,150,000 projected cost earlier this year. The rest of the funding will come from donations.
