Former Principal Returns to Bishop Feehan

George Milot is returning to his former post as Bishop Feehan High School principal for one year.

named George Milot as its interim principal earlier this week. Milot, who served as principal of the school from 1994 to 2001 and as Diocesan Superintendent of Schools from 2001-2011, will return to his old post for one year while Bishop Feehan searches for a permanent replacement.

The appointment was approved by Bishop George W. Coleman and announced by Diocesan Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michael Griffin at a gathering of faculty and staff in the Bishop Feehan chapel on Tuesday.

"Dr. Milot's extensive knowledge of the school, his deep commitment to Catholic education and his broad experience as an educator will provide Bishop Feehan with timely leadership and will allow the school the flexibility to undertake an in-depth search over the course of the next school year to fill the principal position for the long term," school President Chris Servant said.
