Labor Day has ended and so has summer, at least on the American cultural calendar (the actual final day of summer is Sept. 21). As fall begins, so does the school year. The first day of classes in the Attleboro school district is Wednesday for grades 1-12, Thursday for kindergarten and next Monday for preschool.
