Franklin jumped out to a 6-0 start and never relinquished the lead Friday, defeating Attleboro 64-31. In spite of Franklin getting into early foul trouble, the Bombardiers shot a dismal 7-19 from the free throw line, in the first half, and finished 16-32 from the charity stripe.
Attleboro was outscored at each stop, with Franklin pouring in 24 points to the home teams 8, in the final quarter.
Beth Clifton had 9 points and 6 rebounds and Bri LaPlume pulled down 8 rebounds.

Attleboro now stands at 7-5 and will host Milford on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
The AHS freshman defeated Franklin, 44-38. Amy Cadle led the Bombardiers with14 points. Olivia Reyes chipped in with 12 and Rose Davies, 9. The JV’s were on the short end of a 46-21 score.
