The Erosion of the American Dream

Welcome to Taxachusetts, the state with one party ruling everything on Bacon Hill, oops, that’s Beacon Hill.  The gas tax has increased, the cigarette tax increased and there is also a new tax on computer software services.    According to the tax foundation, “The corporate income tax in Massachusetts is listed as one of the top 15th highest. Massachusetts's corporate tax collections per person were $281 in 2010 which ranked 4th highest nationally.  According to Forbes Magazine, “Massachusetts’ business costs, including labor, energy and taxes, are the highest of the 48 contiguous states (only Hawaii is higher) at 22% above the national average.   Gov. Patrick and his cronies continue to use the Democrat spin by telling us that the new taxes are needed in order to improve the infrastructure and close the MBTA budget gap.   Governor Patrick, I have a solution to the MBTA budget woes, how about slashing union benefits, the overpaid union workers can afford to pay for their healthcare out of their own pockets and they certainly have the money.   Instead of raising the gas tax, how about reducing the highly paid wages of the ticket takers at the toll booths.   Massachusetts is anti-business and the Democrats and their tax and spend economic philosophy are the culprit to high unemployment, EBT card abuse and an increasing number of people on welfare.   Washington Democrats aren’t any better, when the Republicans controlled the White House, in addition to the senate and house, unemployment was low, people had good paying jobs and people had 401K's and were making investments into the economy.  Since President Obama has been in office, we have seen high unemployment, a lack of good paying private sector jobs, business being overtaxed and overregulated, a majority of people on welfare collecting a fat paycheck and eroding 401K's. In addition, Obamacare is forcing business owners to either layoff employees, or reduce their hours to 30 or less so they don't have to offer health insurance. The Obama administration’s policies have made competition for jobs even more difficult.  President Obama's policies have moved America into a more socialist leaning nation, that's not the American Dream, that's President Obama's dream.
