VIDEO: Seekonk High School Student Wins Boys State Award
Seekonk High School student Daniel Mendes won the Nasiatkz Award sponsored by the American Legion Massachusetts Boys State through Stonehill College.
Daniel Mendes was honored by Board of Selectmen members on Wednesday night for receiving the American Legion Boys State Nasiatkz Award, a special accolade given to the summer program's top students. Boys State and Girls State educates students on U.S. government using mock trial practices.
Daniel will be a senior at in the fall. He would like to study economics in college.
