VIDEO: Regional Shelter at Attleboro High School Opens Tonight

The American Red Cross along with Attleboro officials are gearing up to open the regional shelter doors at 5 p.m.

Volunteers from the American Red Cross, Medical Reserve Corps and State of Massachusetts Animal Response Team (SMART) are prepping  as a regional shelter. The shelter will be open at 5 p.m. and is ready for 2,000 people. If needed, the shelter can hold up to 3,000 to 4,000 people, according to Emergency Managment Director Scott Lachance.
