VIDEO: Politicians Tour Seekonk Commons, Hear Tenant Complaints

Rep. Steven Howitt and Sen. James Timilty visited Seekonk Commons to hear resident concerns to relay to the State House.

Local politicians visited Chappell Street weeks ago to discuss structural issues with Seekonk Commons. According to Francine Kouis, executive director of the , the agency's budget is not nearly adequate to fund all the repair work needed on the building.

Sheriff Thomas M. Hodgson, Sen. James Timilty and Rep. Steven Howitt visited with the residents to hear their concerns. They said they would try to get state aid for the agency that houses low income and senior tenants.
