Transfer Station Open for Hurricane Irene Yard Waste
The town won't be providing curb side waste removal until mid-October.
The Seekonk Department of Public Works transfer station is open during its regular hours for dropping off yard waste. It's located at 350 Fall River Ave. behind the American Legion Hall.
Station hours:
- Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (closed noon-12:30 for lunch.
- The second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 8 a.m. to noon.
Brush and small limbs with six-inches in diameter or less only. No commercial trucks are allowed in the station. Seekonk will not be providing curbside collection of yard waste until mid-October.
