Technology Keeps Candidate for School Committee Connected
Teri Enegren hopes to set the record straight and dispel rumors.
Letter to the Editor:
There have been some rumors going around town so I’d like to provide some clarity. I hold a real estate license in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Florida. I am affiliated with a major real estate franchise in North Attleboro and in Boynton Beach, FL. My significant other is a Florida resident and I am a Massachusetts resident and taxpayer. I travel quite frequently for personal and professional reasons. I am physically in Florida approximately 45 percent of the time. I am successful at managing my business in both locations because of the wonderful technology we have available to us today. I have never been secretive about this and I do not deny that I have missed meetings, but I will not promise what I cannot deliver.
I cannot always be in attendance in Room 178E, but I am diligent in my efforts to stay up to date and do my research. I have worked tirelessly for my constituents as an At-Large representative. I make it a priority to stay informed about everything that goes on in the district and I have always gone over and above what is expected from a School Committee member. Before Mr. Moran started his sticker campaign there was no one, other than me, who had an interest in representing Ward 1. I could not let my Ward go unrepresented. That has changed and it is now up to the voters of Ward 1 to elect the person they want to represent them. I have the utmost respect the residents of my Ward and know they will make the decision that is right for them.
