Steinhof to Open Attleboro Campaign Office

The candidate is seeking the Republican nomination for the seat representing Massachusetts' 4th Congressional District.

David Steinhof, the Republican dentist from Fall River seeking to be the representative in the U.S. House for the district that includes Attleboro and Seekonk, will open a local campaign office on Tuesday.

Steinhof announced in a press release that the office will be located at 83 Pleasant St. in Attleboro. It will be open on weekdays from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays by appointment.

"Attleboro is a critical city to us in this campaign," Steinhof wrote. "She has been hit hard by this Obama recession, and we want everyone to know that when I go to Washington, I'll be working hard for the people of the cities and towns of this district, Attleboro included."

Steinhof will face fellow Republicans Elizabeth Childs and Sean Bielat in the Sept. 6 primary election. The victor will challenge the Democratic primary winner, likely Joseph Kennedy III, in November.

Supporters of Bielat's campaign are impossible to miss at community events. They appear to attend all of them in Attleboro and Seekonk as well as elsewhere in the district, where they distribute campaign literature.

The grand opening of Steinhof's office will take place Tuesday at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.
