State Rep. Ross Hosts Final Office Hours

He will meet with residents Friday at Attleboro City Hall.

Rep. George Ross may have lost his re-election bid last month, but he is still Attleboro's representative in the state House for another week. The Republican will host the final office hours of his term Friday at Attleboro City Hall from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. State Rep. Betty Poirier will co-host the session.

The press release from Ross' office states, "If you would like to meet with them to discuss state government issues or any other matters of concern, please join them ... All constituents are welcome and no appointment is necessary."

Democrat Paul Heroux, who defeated Ross in November, will be sworn in as the new state representative for most of Attleboro next week on Wednesday. Poirier, a Republican whose district includes Attleboro's Ward 3B, will begin her fifth full term on that day. She ran unopposed in November.
