Sen. Brown to Visit in Honor of 200th Anniversary

Seekonk will be hosting Sen. Scott Brown (R-Massachusetts) on Wednesday.Brown will be making several presentations to honor town officials in recognition of Seekonk's 200th anniversary.  

Sen. Brown will be at at 10 a.m. to make the presentations in the selectmen meeting room. The event is open to the public.

Following that, Sen. Brown will be visiting the senior center.

Seekonk’s 200th Anniversary is billed as a year-long event with the official kick-off being the on Jan. 21 at the

Tickets for the event are $50 a person and seating is done with tables of eight and 10. Tickets can be purchased at the Town Clerk’s office, by phone at (508) 336-2920, or by mailing an order form to Town Hall. Tickets are are only available until Jan. 18.
