Seekonk Residents Can Meet the Candidates March 29

The event will be held at Seekonk High School.

Seekonk voters will get the chance to meet the candidates Thurdsay, March 29.

A "Meet the Candidates Night" has been scheduled for 7 p.m. that day at the auditorium. An invitation has been extended to all candidates for all offices, from Assessor to Water Commissioner and including the write-in candidate for School Committee, in the April 2 election. David Spencer is the event coordinator who with Bill Gouveia, Town of Norton, MA, Town Moderator and political columnist for the Sun Chronicle, is scheduled to be the moderator for the event.

The event will include an opportunity for residents to appear and ask questions to the Senior Center Building Committee and its support organizations. That will lead the program at 6 p.m. Meet the candidates will go from 7 to 9 p.m. This will be an opportunity for town residents to appear and ask any questions of the candidates. The format for the town residents to ask the questions will be determined by David Spencer and Bill Gouveia, and will be announced to the residents and candidates that evening.
