Resident Honored for City Service

Mary Poirier is moving on after 25 years of service on various Attleboro boards and committees.

The City Council and Mayor Kevin Dumas recognized Mary Poirier on Tuesday for her 25 years of service to Attleboro. She has served on various boards and committees, including the Planning Board for 22 years. Poirier has decided to retire from service.

Dumas and City Council President Frank Cook read proclamations dedicated to Poirier. Councilor Mark Cooper gave his praise, and said she was a helpful mentor to him and others when he joined the Planning Board.
