Planning Board to Review Walmart Site Plan

The board will be reviewing and discussing the proposed Walmart on Route 6 tonight.

The plans for a new Walmart on Route 6 will be under review at tonight’s meeting of the Planning Board.

The were originally proposed in June and have previously needed to be due to environmental concerns.

The project has also faced from a number of residents and a public hearing on the issue is scheduled for January 23.

Tonight’s agenda also features discussions on the town’s Master Plan and the Route 44 Land Use Study Action Plan.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Selectmen meeting room at Town Hall.
