Mayor Says Attleboro Is In Good Shape

Mayor Kevin Dumas assured constituents that Attleboro will be the best city in the Commonwealth.

Attleboro Mayor Kevin Dumas spoke to a group of approximately 40 constituents at the Attleboro Republican City Committee meeting on Monday to share an update on the "State of the City."

Dumas assured the group, which included City Councilors Brian Kirby, Frank Cook and Richard Conti, that the city was moving in the right direction and growing.

The mayor highlighted the opening of A and two new ethnic restaurants slated to open in the downtown this summer.

The mayor also talked about renovations to schools, outreach programs at City Hall and the city being recongnized as one of the best places to raise kids. Dumas addressed concerns by citizens over the the County Street bridge, assuring them that the Massachusetts Department of Transportation-run project is slated for completion in July.
