Mayor Looks to Improve Internet Access in City Hall

The Mayor submitted a communication with the City Council to increase bandwidth in the city.

Attleboro Mayor Kevin Dumas submitted a communication with the City Council this week to provide funds for increased bandwith in order to improve internet access in City Hall.

"The City must increase our bandwith in order for the City to keep up with the demands of increasing usage of the internet for online training and video streaming," the Mayor wrote to the Council.

The request asks for the transfer of $2,640 from the city's reserve fund to the budget and administration on line services fund.

The matter was referred to the City Property and Claims Committee, headed by Councilor James DiLisio.
