The Seekonk Planning Board is expected to vote on the final draft of the Seekonk Master Plan Update at its meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. The master plan is the document used to guide town officials on development and other matters regarding the future of Seekonk.
The three-volume document addresses land use, economic development, energy sustainability, public facilities/services and transportation. Go here to read the plan.
The update to the master plan was created through a series of forums, board meetings, surveys and other forms of public involvement. The public will have a final chance to comment on the plan at a public hearing prior to the Planning Board's vote.
